About Glasgow Pollok
The Glasgow Pollok Constituency is located in the South-West of Glasgow – the northern boundary runs alongside the Southside of the Clyde, and it takes in: Govan, a part of Glasgow famous for Rab C and shipbuilding – but one which is undergoing extensive regeneration as part of the Glasgow City Deal and the Central Govan Action Plan; Penilee, Hillington; the metropolitan hub of Cardonald; the rolling hills of Mosspark; North Pollok; Crookston; the proud burghs of Priesthill and Househillwood; Nitshill; all the way down to Arden, with the southern boundary at Deaconsbank and Darnley, bordering East Renfrewshire.
